On behalf of the Executive Scientific Committee, we are delighted to welcome you to the 3rd International Conference on Data-Driven Plasma Science (ICDDPS-3), which will be held as a virtual conference from the 29th March to 2nd April, 2021. To accommodate a large part of the globe, the conference will be open for about 2 hours a day from 13:00 to 15:00 GMT (9:00-11:00 EDT, 15:00-17:00 CEST, 22:00-24:00 JST). For more details, please see "Program" section of this web page. Unfortunately we had to cancel the one-day tutorial session called School of Data-Driven Plasma Science, which we originally scheduled to hold one day before the original on-site ICDDPS-3 last year. The goal of the Conference is for the participants to gain information on and discuss latest research activities in data-driven science (such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, image processing, data mining, and big data analyses) applied to plasma science and technologies, including, but not limited to, plasma processing and nuclear fusion. This time, the virtual ICDDPS-3 will be held with the 12th EU-Japan Joint Symposium on Plasma Processing (JSPP-12) and the 15th Asia-Pacific Conference on Plasma Science and Technology (APCPST-15) on the same days but at different times, so the registered participants can attend both ICDDPS-3 and JSPP-12/APCPST-15 free of charge.
